What is the Social Engineering?

Social engineering is to get personal information from others and to ill-use it.
May be the most famous one in Japan is “Ore ore sagi”. It is the fraud to make a phone call to the elderly pretending to their grandchild. And the criminals ask the elderly to pay money into one account since they have financial problems. I heard that those criminals use only phonebook, and search old style name, such as “Yone” and “Toshi” that are written in katakana. Then, their first saying is “Hi, grandma, it’s me!!!” Then the elderly imagine that the criminals are their grandchildren. Their trick is so simple, but it is well-planned one.

Another social engineering I know is to get credit card information, such as password from others. Some criminals peep the password around the ATM in banks.
Warning! Warning!!
The news that some miniature cameras were founded near the ATM surprised me.
I think those criminals are sharp, but I won’t do same thing.

If I needed money, I will go to bank. Bank robbery? Non, non. I would ask the bank clerk to give me money and kneel down on the floor.
“Please fill my bag with Yukichi!”

noir-girl

Good evening! Thank you for your visiting my page. This time, I will write about what I want to learn about computers. I am not so good at using machines, but I want to make interesting homepage, and want to become an expert of power point for my presentation. Also, if I can use internet skillfully, I suppose I would be able to do wonderful research for assignment. My superb assignment is up to you, Mr. Poza!! I do not want to use computers after I get a job since it seems so difficult and complicated, but I want to require as a common skill. If I would be able to make nice homepage, I would put many pictures of my cat everyday. And if I can, I want to teach my mother how to use computers since she sometimes needs to do so, but she does not know how to turn the switch on!! …It seems that my plan is heading for trouble. Keep tryin’ , tryin’!!

Happy Friday!

Now, I will write about my short history with computers.
When I was a junior high school student, I learned how to use computers with basic rules in my class. I guess it was the first time to touch computers in my life. I memorized how to draw pictures with a computer, and how to use Internet. As a practice, my teacher recommended us to search shops in Kyoto with Internet so that we will be able to go to Japanese café that serves delicious maccha(!!!) during our visit on school trip.
Next time that I had computer class was when I was belonging to IPU (a medical university). The teacher taught me how to use excel. However, my memory has already gone and do not remain anymore. …Empty!!
Now I use computers when I check my email, and visit to websites, such as Heart E (lolita fashion’s store) and my favourite musicians, for example, Cocco and Hikaru Utada. Also, computers are my partners when I do homework. They correct my awful spelling. So that my spelling disease will no be cured. And I often use computers when I make copies of CDs after go to TSUTAYA.
A computer is my unmanageable child now, but for the foreseeable future, I hope computers to become my good assistant.
Then, that's all for now. Have a nice weekend!!
